Group and Private training classes are available for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments…
In class you will learn all general obedience cues, such as:
Sit, Down, Leave It, Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, Touch, Come, Loose-Leash walking, etc.
You will also learn skills to become a strong leader to your dog and will work with a variety of distractions to ensure your dog’s cooperation regardless of the scenario you find yourselves in.
Our dog trainers believe in a positive reinforcement philosophy and are certified and insured.
Problem Behavior Solutions
In addition to basic obedience training, we can help you with common problem behaviors such as: Jumping, Nipping and Mouthing, Unruly House Behavior, Begging, Stealing Food, Jumping on Furniture, Excessive Barking, Inappropriate Chewing, Coprophagia (Stool Eating), Digging and Bolting.

Rates
Group Dog Training Classes for Puppies and Adult Dogs
- $99 for 6 weeks of training
- Each class meets once a week for 6 consecutive weeks
- Open to Puppies (ages 8 weeks and older) as well as Adult dogs
- There are a maximum of 5 students per class

Private Dog Training Classes for Puppies and Adult Dogs
Consultation – $35
Meet and greet with dog(s) and owner (approximately 1 hr).
Evaluation of owner’s training goals for their dog(s).
Will review training aid options.
Consultation fee applicable to training fees if purchased.
Single Private Class – $65
Private Class, package of 4 – $240 ($60 per class)
Classes generally given once a week.
Client works with dog on techniques in between classes.
Recommended for dogs in need of general “good manners” training which includes but not limited to: Sit, Sit-Stay, Come, Down, Down-Stay, Heel, Loose Leash Walking, Leave It.
Private Class, package of 6 – $330 ($55 per class)
Classes generally given once a week.
Client works with dog on techniques in between classes.

Puppy Socialization Sessions – $15/hr
Proper socialization of dogs is the single most important thing an owner can do to guard against the most serious behavior problem there is – aggression. From the age of 7-16 weeks, puppies go through a general socialization period. During this period it is imperative to introduce puppies to a myriad of things it will eventually encounter in his/her daily life. Dogs who are not properly socialized have a much greater chance of exhibiting nervous or fearful behavior and/or biting someone. Proper socialization can mean the difference between life and death for a dog.
Most dog owners are aware of the importance of socialization but find it difficult to find enough time in their day or are unaware of what proper socialization involves. This is where the Mutt Maniacs team can help!
Our socialization trips will expose your puppy to many situations and environments – such as a crowd of people, other dogs, car rides, etc. Exposure will be introduced at your dog’s own pace to ensure a positive experience and to avoid a negative reaction. Adequate socialization can be introduced without adding undue risk of Parvo exposure – we avoid areas where other dogs go (such as dog parks) and only expose the puppy to dogs that are known to be healthy and current on vaccinations. At only $15/hr it is very affordable and will have positive long-lasting effects on your dog’s life.
