My dog has gotten it twice from boarding facilities... This is one reason why I started Mutt Maniacs. If you can avoid a traditional boarding facility while you're away by hiring a pet sitter to come to your home, why not do it?! And our rates are less than most boarding facilities... It's been a battle since he was a puppy. Amazingly, I've found that the Dremel Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Rotary Tool is something he'll tolerate. It grinds down the nail without any cutting... PediPaws offers something similar, but online reviews I've read suggest the motor isn't strong enough and when the nail touches the file, it stops spinning. This is why I opted for the Dremel version. Has anyone tried the PediPaws version? I'd be interested to hear... And no, we are not sponsored by any pet product companies... They come in a variety of colors/patterns and in large and small sizes - sometimes they even have matching sheepskin blankets. And they are soooo affordable.
